I guess the answer is "Any good for what?"..

 

We've got a couple in the library that they use on the central desk to run Heritage and barcode scanners etc. Seem reliable enough, if not particularly quick. We've also got three science labs with them in.. same again - reliable but not quick.

 

If you want something for Office and general tasks, they are ok (our accounts assistant lady uses one for example). If you want Photoshop - forget it!

He was really asking for home use and I think your reply is what I was looking for. His daughter will be using it for word processing, web browsing etc for her homework [primary school]

 

Sounds like it will be good enough for what he wants.

You'd need to purchase a windows license.

 

The ZOTAC zboxes http://www.ebuyer.com/256172-zotac-zbox-amd-fusion-e-350-barebone-zbox-ad02-b are slightly more expensive but the processor is more powerful and you can spec your own with an SSD instead of a hard drive.

They also take up to 8Gb unlike the Atoms in the Revo
