TNoble Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I am looking at setting FOG up on a small testing network. Does Fog work across multiple network cards? E.G: My server has 2 NIC's that link into two seperate networks, I would like to distribute OS's, through Fog, through both of the networks. The two networks cannot currently see each other. I will be installing Fog on the latest version Ubuntu server. I realise this is a very brief description but it may be enough to generate some discussion.
dhicks Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Does Fog work across multiple network cards? Yes - I have a FOG server running as a virtual machine that services both an internal test network and the main network.
TNoble Posted April 24, 2012 Author Posted April 24, 2012 What did you do to set this up? I can't seem to find any configuration settings for changing the NIC used for PXE.

Information about PXE boot servers is dished out by your DHCP server. You'll have a DHCP server for each network, so you simply need to set up PXE fields on each of them. Each network will see the PXE server as a different IP address, of course, so make sure you use the right IP address on the right DHCP server.
