vengefulpete Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I am not sure if this post should be here, under thin clients, under Windows 7, or other. Basically I have a bunch of Windows Embedded 7 thin clients which are all connected to the exact same model monitors. The default screen resolution is too high and I am looking for a way to set the initial resolution to a lower value while still allowing the users to change the screen resolution (not important however). Is there a registry key I can copy and push to the other thin clients or something? Thanks, Pete
FN-GM Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 When I worked at my last place they had this issue. It can't be done from the session. They ended up using a custom app to do the job. You could use something like psexec to do it.
vengefulpete Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 There must be another way. The device obviously is storing the last used resolution somewhere. I just want to copy that to the other devices.
