Registering students into Extra-Curric Clubs

We have been asked to register students into lunchtime and after school clubs, we get a range of students throughout each lunch so will take some time writing names down for each sessions.

 

Anyone do this in there school and know of a solution?

We are using an online solution called Beyond Learning, it allows staff to create clubs, assign students, register them, produce a timetable and analysis reports.

 

It's not been officially released yet, but they may let you trial it for free too if you are interested. Let me know, I'd be happy to pass on your details to our contact.

SIMS, cant find a way of having an 'open' register where anyone could walk through the door and we could enter them here.

I agree that's not SIMS strong-point. We're an independent and have this requirement to make sure we can bill the parents accurately. Our MIS will do it, but it is one for Independent Schools

We had the same issue, we have different students turning up to clubs each week and no easy way to register. The system that we are trialing allows staff to assign students as they turn up, not sure what rules are for posting contact emails so I will PM you our contacts details.
