Edge

Pah. Edge.

I dislike them. With all their baseless release dates.

MH3G [3DS] Q3 2012? Funny, Capcom hasn't said anything about it.

It's more the interviews with developers and articles about development I like - release dates don't much interest me, I'm not that much of a gamer these days anyway. Plus, I'm sure they get their release dates from somewhere - devs have been known to go over schedule you know. Almost religiously with big name games!

It's one of the few games I'm waiting for.

Also, they got the date from nowhere. Seriously. Every reference to it mentions Edge as their source.

But Edge HAS no source. And Capcom are still saying they're looking into possibly releasing it outside Japan. At some point. Maybe. They'll think about it.

Loved trials HD and really really enjoying evolution. Great change going to an open world map for the level editor and some amazing work coming out of the online communitys for tracks and skill games. Yet to unlock expert but managed to achive gold medals on a few hard tracks last night first time! Fluke? Maybe.....

I'm not sure yet whether the game is easier than HD was... I'm only on the C licence tracks (hardly had a chance to play!) but so far I've been getting gold first time almost every time... is it easier, or are there just more tracks? To be fair, all the tracks I've done so far do say they're easy tracks...

It gets tougher, from what I'v seen so far the courses get longer (more chance of a fail) and when they start moving "left" and "right" (ie towards you and away from you, but still side-on view) it gets trickier to know exactly which part of the landscape you are actually aiming to land on/get over.

I almost 100% the first game, and so the skills I picked up from playing it of course made the first parts of this new game feel easy as pie, getting gold on almost every track first time around (expcet for those that need the faster bikes you unlock later on) so in that respect it might feel easier as you are already familiar with the game mechanics.

Very true; I was trying to get the last couple of golds on the hard tracks on HD while it was downloading so I suppose that skewed things somewhat!

Interesting fact: the editor used in this game and the previous is the same one the developers used to create all the built-in tracks.

Yep seriously check out the tracks some people are putting up on XBL and try the online. You unlock trials multiplayer rather then just supercross after a couple of races and later on unlock extreme tracks. You can also play all user created supercross and trial levels on multiplayer over XBL or local.

The levels do seem easier but wait until the trials cup, i'm yet to get there myself but i've been told they are solid!
