Office 2012

Hi all,

 

Has anyone hurd about where and when the office 2012 beta will be release or where i can sign up to recieve it.

 

Looking forward to this one as the jump from 2003 to 2007 was a big one and then little changes to 2010, and with the beta of windows 8 will 2012 be a big jump aswell.

The beta should be out in the summer, with the final version due to be released sometime between November 2012 and early 2013.

 

The Office 15 wave of products don’t specify an RTM date. (The release to manufacturing dates are marked by circles on the roadmaps.) But they do indicate general availability for these products will be in the early part of 2013. As I’ve reported before, the “whisper date” for Office 15 RTM is November 2012, but the launch/general availability date is believed to be early next year. (Source)

At the moment it's codenamed Office 15. It's unclear whether it'll be called Office 2012 or Office 2013, but it'll build on Office 2010 along with added cloud features.
