Does anybody use the above on their network for antivirus?

 

If yes, any issues recently with Windows XP having serious errors such as not shutting down correctly, or drivers going walkies?

We dont use that but we have seen the same issues as you caused by the secrus client.

What's the secrus client?

Have you heard of Securus? Its a client for the server software. I assume you dont have it then, i mentioned it incase you did and you could be having the same issue as us.

What part of securus did you find was the issue? I am thinking it maybe the access control on Kaspersky?

We dont use Kaspersky but we get the same issues. We have a client for securus installed and its playing tricks like you have. Machines without the clinet installed work fine. Securus is another bit of software nothing to do with Kaspersky.
