I want to have my HP N36L running linux mainly due to WHS using too much processing power.

all i use this device for is DLNA (and bit torrent). I had a quick mess last night but could not seem to find a good, easy DNLA server/distro.

Has anyone any advice, experience with this? many thanks!

has this got a easyish gui to config? is that gui web or an app. can you select what folders you share.

i have tv, movies, phone videos, torrents (complete, incomplete etc). if it searched for all videos it would share these, i only want TV & Movies.

Thanks Geoff

No it's command line and runs as a system service. You just edit the config and off it goes. I did find this blog post though that might help?

The Linux Experience: Ushare made easier!

When you set it running you tell it which directories to share. So aslong as you keep the different types of stuff in separate directories and only inform it of those then you should be fine.
