Viglen Classlink Desktop Links

I've inheirted a Viglen classlink setup and the link buttons that normally appear on the users desktop have vanished from teachers logons

 

If the teacher logons as a pupil, then they re-appear but logged on as themselves - no links

 

I know very little about this setup so any hints as to where to look to find out whats happened would be greatfully received

Only just seen this, so do not know if you had got it fixed, but it is just an active desktop which points to http://classlink

In the primary which I support the active desktop is http://classlink7 as we run classlink v7
