Quick heads up, just found out by accident that some of the all-in-one Lenovo are being recalled.

 

This has just scuppered us, we got 65 of them for all staff in office. All have to be turned off

and MUST not be turned back on, even a "HEAD TEACHERS MANDATE"

Are yours definitely affected? A few weeks back I made a call to Lenovo with the serial numbers of ours and not a single one was in the affected batches. However, they didn't show up as clear on the website checker. That came up with call support who then cleared them all manually over the phone.

42 of our 65 have been highlighted via the website as affected, i have sent off a list of s/n to IBM for a definitive list.

 

But as the part to fix it are not in stock the waiting time is in the week then days.
