World Down's Syndrome Awareness Day

Many of you will not have known it but today is World Down's Syndrome Awareness Day and I have just been catching with a friend's blog.

 

Tom Rees (some of you might know him from as an ex-head from round these parts and now seconded with a certain VLE provider) is also chair of a local charity called Ups'n'Downs and they had a fantastic fundraiser the other week which I was glad I made it to.

 

As part of the night a short video was shown about Down's syndrome, which Tom has now blogged about it and linked to it on his personal site. It is definitely worth having a watch.
