SimpleSi Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I'm uploading a school plan layout to a Unifi controller but the wall lines are a bit thick - what technique can I use (in Gimp or paint.net - dont have photoshop) to thin them down so they don't swamp my network map? Any ideas? Simon http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1173161/zxw/wall.jpg
TwoZeroAlpha Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Wow, haven't posted on here in ages, the joy of going fulltime In Gimp, Select the red, Select > Shrink (about 10pixels) Select > Invert Delete key Done 1
SimpleSi Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 Not bad but if I shrink enough to get the lines to thin, some of them disappear - so have you got anything better? Si
TwoZeroAlpha Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Import into inkscape and draw straight lines over the top
SimpleSi Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 @sysman You've spoilt the game- you and your fancy vector thinghy :) Ta Simon PS But I still want to know a good subsitute for having it re-drawn by a Jedi Master
