failed redundancy - what to do?

a win2k server that had 2 pairs of mirrored drives in. a windows drive and a data drive. The main boot drive failed but i've got the server working from the mirrored disk.

 

now in disk management, on the drive that I got working 2 of the partitions show up as

"failed redundancy (boot)"

 

and the top portions of the partitions show up in the colour of mirrored partitions, but obviously the mirror is broke.

 

the only possible useful options on the right click menu of these partitions are

"resynchronise mirror" and "mark volume active"

 

I dont know what to do to stop windows thinking these partitions are part of a mirror. I dont have a replacement drive. Do i need to do anything? can I just leave them as they are?

Replace the failed drive. Boot. Select resynchronise.

Question comes to mind have you got Raid

havent got a replacement. they're old 18gb scsi drives. so basically If i dont replace the drive it'll just stay as it is?

 

nope havent got raid just software mirrors

 

doesnt matter now. cant get any of them to work properly. even when i tried to reinstall windows. stuck an ide drive in and trying that.
