Hoping to next year ditch SWGfL in favour of our own leased line + smoothwall filtering. Going by base prices i've got off websites it looks like we may save money this route but obviously website prices don't always speak the truth Anyone who has already done this able to speak of the experiences and the costs involved?
CyberNerd Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 We went with Vaioni. Cheap with a good SLA. They threw in ADSL backup for free. Looking at around £8500 for 30Mb/on 100Bearer. + install (£2.5k) + excess construction charge if you need new fibre (not using the county fibre). Absolutely no problems since the move. Much better than LA provided line and cheaper.
