FN-GM Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Hi, When a user (who has local admin rights) reboots or shutdown a computer it seems to fail and simply logs the user off. It happens on lots of machines with different users. I get the following errors in the event log. Error 1074 Source User32 The process explorer.exe has initiated the restart of for the following reason: No title for this reason could be found. Minor Reason: 0x0 Shutdown Type: restart Error 1073 Source User32 The attempt by user to restart/shutdown computer failed Does anyone have any thoughts please? Thanks
FN-GM Posted March 3, 2012 Author Posted March 3, 2012 I think I have found it. I think it is caused by the securus client. When i disable it as a startup item shutdowns have worked 100% of the time during the tests.
