falko1 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 currently have FOG setup and working on cisco network with two vlans, multicasting accross these works fine. but I will be moving to a new network soon. This network is HP and we will be using Distributed Trunking Protocol but when using this protocol the switches do not support Multicast routing. so i wonder how I would set up FOG on the new network with two Vlans, and server has two Nics. How do configure to allow FOG to have two IP's and multicast on both vlans? any help greatly appreciated
glennda Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I don't use DTP but you should be able to uni-cast (i.e to one machine) over HP Vlans. I have this setup here just with a few IP helpers to direct traffic from the fog server.
falko1 Posted March 2, 2012 Author Posted March 2, 2012 yeah though I need to be able to multicast so I can do a suite at a time (30 PC's)
