Kindle app for staff

anyone out there been asked to install kindle on teacher machines or thin client citrix ?

 

if so any advice, info on how you did it, any problems you hit along the way?

 

i can see one right of the bat that you need to sign in. does this sign in move with the account which is signed in based on user profiles.

Don't know, but there's the Kindle Cloud Reader now, so if you're online you probably don't need it.

yep just did and its not supported

and my version of firefox is too old ( mine is version 5)

just updated the firefox and now its moaning about adobe flash player 9 "where is the debugger or host application running" local host or other machine.

 

not even logged into the site yet...

As above, I would encourage they use Cloud Reader instead (or, possibly, buy something other than Kindle, as I think they might be more flexible, e.g. lending books onto eReaders, but I'm venturing into a different thread now...)
