[ms office - 2010] Outlook Out Of Office

Does anybody know a way to setup an Out Of Office to automatically apply on a Specific day? For Example our Admin team are mainly part time with most people having a single day off each week.

 

They would like to setup out of Office's so that they Auto-apply on the Day they are not in. I've looked at rules in Outlook but i can only seem to find a Specific date range.

 

Anybody any ideas?

This is something I've been after a solution for for a while...

 

I was hoping there was a way to control the OoO message via entries or keywords in the Outlook Calendar (then your staff could just set a recurring appointment for their days off)... not found anything yet, but not giving up either!

Never tried it, but can't you use the message header bit and look for "Wed" etc, unless that doesn't count as header?

It seems it's outlook which puts the day in front - opening an email in a txxt file the Sent is just a date not a day

 

EDIT: Possibly not two mins!

Other option, but a bit long winded for what you want, make a custom script, set it to run on any emails received, with a convert date to day, and if day do X kind script, but not exactly "nice" answer

Yes you can - just tested and this works.

 

With Specific Words in the Message Header - Put in WED then reply with this message - Create a message and then save and close. Bobs you uncle mary's you aunt it works
