arthur231283 Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I have a strange joomla problem. I am trying to embed a youtube video on a joomla site. I go to the youtube video site and get the iframe embed code. I then put the code into the article I want. When I click preview the video looks fine. When I click save or apply the code gets removed. I have managed to embed a youtube video fine in a module else where on the same site but it does not seem to work in an article
rush_tech Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 (edited) I think it might be your editor cleaning up the code, try selecting no editor in global config and give it another go. Failing that I use the allvideos plugin *edit if you are using joomla 2.5 you can use this neat little plugin to select which editor to use saves a lot of time Edited February 22, 2012 by rush_tech 1
arthur231283 Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 I tried the no editor root but it didn't make a difference. We are still using version 1.5.25. So I installed the allvideos plugin and its working now. Thanks for the help

No codding needed.
