speckytecky Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I'm looking for a decent but economic printer for general classroom use. this would be shared by circa 20 workstations. Anyone found a printer they swear by for reliability and value?
teejay Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Ricoh SPC 430DN. Bit pricey up front cost, but if you buy it on the OGC contract you just pay a very competitive cost per page which includes toners etc and a same day on-site warranty for 5 years. 1
laserblazer Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 A photocopier at the other end of the building and up the stairs. Amazing how discerning they become about what needs printing. 1
speckytecky Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 I'm thinking OGC is Office Government Contract? Not heard of that one can you tell me more please? Ricoh SPC 430DN. teejay Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I'm thinking OGC is Office Government Contract? Not heard of that one can you tell me more please? It's pre-negotiated contracts through the Government Procurement Service, Buying Solutions - The National Procurement Partner for UK Public Services. For Ricoh I'll pm you the government contracts contact there. 1
