LiamH Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Anyone played this yet? The single player seemed slightly dumbed down yet again, but still fun, and the multiplayer (co-op wave survival) is a lot of fun. Demo for the PC is available over origin, its out for Xbox and ps3 i think.
Chris_Jones Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I've been playing the Multiplayer a fair bit this last week - it is quite fun, hopefully it will be even better when the other maps and enemy types are unlocked. Not tried the single player demo, as I dont want to spoil myself for the full game.

I loved both 1 & 2, I know I will love this, I know I will want it, so I have avoided every gameplay video, every preview, everything I can. The only problem is that the internet is so very tempting, and it's always there...
mulderite Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I downloaded the demo on day of release thru Origin. Unfortunately I encountered a bug in the demo that prevented me from continuing through a locked door (apparantly a cut-scene of the door being unlocked did not initiate), so it was a very short demo. I'm still excited for this release but hope bugs of this nature do not make their way into the final game. But what I did see, if the demo is the actual opening of the retail game, was highly impressive!

I'm seeing this more and more lately. Decent single player games are being dumbed down and are having multiplayer as the main part. It's not cool. I'm just waiting for [proper] multiplayer LoZ... A FPS of course.

Lucky thing there's so many wonderfully clever indie games around then, eh? Never been more choice for PC gaming, my backlog is enormous and will never be completed, and I can't think of any time in my long experience of gaming that's been better than we've got it now.

You have multiplayer a go? With 2 weeks to go 'til release I'm going to wait it out now. Not really that interested in the multiplayer aspect, just keen on importing my ME2 save game into this and starting the new story. I'm currently replaying Mafia II, hope I get enough free time to get that finished before March 9th
