Dos_Box Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 The Beeb has the story here: BBC News - Samsung Electronics board approves LCD unit spin-off Apparently the date for the creation of Samsung Display Compnay Ltd will be the 1st April. Acording to the BBC and Samsung it is due to the falling demand and profits in the flat screen business where the screens, once specialised items, are now classed as commodities with many companies now producing them at high volumes and low costs.
