Yeah been using this type of 3D unit for a couple of years now along with other Roland equipment, kids just love designing and creating there own stuff and we are looking to sell bits n bobs to fund the creativity, we already have a website which is due to go live for the purchasing of home-made textile goodies which the students make, hope it takes off for their sake as they have worked hard to get themselves established within the community.

We have one of these Roland Modela MDX-20/15 - all-in-one scanning and milling for greater design work control at one of my sites that the DT guy can't/won't use. It has been on my desk there since purchase, and I have to admit that I have the best looking bunch of keys in the building! ( if you haven't got it, they are really good at engraving laminated acrylics and turn out brilliant key rings and door signs)
