Nice to know it would take 130 metres to flood my house, and 136 metres to flood my mums house, and 145meters to flood my uncles house. We are reasonably safe!

Apparently if the polar ice caps were to melt completely the rise in sea level would be about 60-75 metres. I can't find a reliable source for this but I do seem to recall it from some TV program or newspaper article. I can't remember how much that figure would be changed if all sources of water were to melt: Mountain ice/snow, glaciers...

Interestingly, seems to take account of current flood defenses - looks very comprehensive. Looks like my mum and dad bought at the right end of their street - although since it's a cul-de-sac they'll need to get used to lockdowns!
