changing email address in pdf doc's

Hi all.

 

Just found a problem I have never seen before and wondering if anyone has any experience of it.

 

I am creating pdf files with e-mail links in them but if i put a link in say as

 

[email protected]

 

but when I convert the document to pdf then click the link it changes the mailto to say

 

[email protected]

 

It dose this for all email links, missing of the start of the address. Any one got any ideas as I can not see why this could be happening.

What software are you creating the document in?

What software are you using to convert to pdf? (if external to the document creation sw)

Your conversion tool is buggy.

Hi we are using Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional and microsoft word 2007. I thought buggy conversion tool to but happens on 2 pc's when both have been fine in the past.

When you say 'fine in the past', do you mean prior to upgrading to office 2007?
