speckytecky Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Recently we set up a new Samsung Laser printer by allocating it a static IP address and as it's used exclusively in one classroom deploying it by it's IP address to clients in that room. We have tried adding it to the printer script for that room but it refuses to play with either the IP address nor the name that it now appears with at it's homepage and in DNS. Is there a naming convention for allocating direct connected printers that we need to be following to get the script to run happily?
