TechSupp Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Looking at tablets and connection to the internet, we use the LA's proxy settings, no user login just an ip and a port. Read on here of others with issues over connection of android tablets, and using espresso a a proxy, would i have to set our old espresso box up as a proxy to allow connection? Getting slightly confussed?
tom_newton Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Imagine you might be able to use such a thing as a transparent proxy so you could upstream to LA. Wouldn't bother mysefl, probably less hassle to set up squid 1

I use my android tablet no probs in a whole bunch of schools android 3 lets you have proxy settings per wireless network so its just a simple matter of setting them when you create the wireless profile
