rdersley Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Has anyone had good sucess with migrateing users mailboxes from Exchange 2010 to Live@EDU everything we have tried seems to fail. Can you connect the Live@edu as a forest in the 2010EMC?
PiqueABoo Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Think there's a problem with that. I've migrated mailboxes from E2K3 to a tenancy via Live@Edu ECP 'staged' migration (one without any OLSync in sight) talking to local Exchange via the RPC Proxy. IIRC the MS docs said you have to do it differently for Exchange 2010 but the catch was you can't unless you've got Office365 tech rather than Live@Edu. Wasn't really interested in 2K10 though, so may have misinterpreted the MS docs... Can you connect the Live@edu as a forest in the 2010EMC? I've got a few Live@Edu tenancies in a 2K10 EMC. If the above is correct that likely won't help, but I guess it wouldn't take long or hurt to try a move request.
