Extending managed wireless network

We have a Aruba managed wireless network and I need to extend it to one area of the school (sports hall).

 

Can I just buy a standard wireless router like this or does it need to be properly installed and configured as part of the managed system?

 

The school is being rebuilt and it would only be used until july so we dont have much money to spend.

You can just buy a standard wireless access point, and then set it up with the same SSID (so long as your managed system isn't doing anything complex like VLANs or authentication).

 

However, I'd suggest simply getting another Aruba AP and adding it to your managed solution. Adding random things around your site kinda defeats the point of a managed solution.

You will need to buy an aruba access point in order to integrate it with your current setup.
