Same domain. I literally copied the command from a 2003 box where I do daily exports, over to a 2008 R2 box. It processes the exact same amount of records, but a) the file size results are different and b) on the 2008 box, the results were missing entries for Home Directory and other attributes for some users.

Omg... your animated Avatar is awesome.

I'm not sure then, I was just wondering if there is some renaming for some objects in an updated 2008 R2 schema. Glad you like the avatar ;)

I'm guessing it's something like that. I'm going to put both files in a "compare" utility I have and see if I can find the problem objects. Thanks!

If they on the same domain though they will be using the same schema so they should both be the same, that what I was trying to determine. Try the compare and see what it comes up with.

I figured out the difference.

My 2003 server has been in production for a long time. Some attributes like "WhenChanged" do not replicate. The "WhenChanged" attribute updates each time a change is made.

My 2008 server is new. Some of these types of attributes that change "incrementally" have smaller values than the older 2003 server which may have an object that has changed many, many times.

The difference between my exports was about 2Kb a user, but over 20,000 users, the exports started looking vastly different in file size.

Way too much nerd-dom for one week :p
