One of our TAs is a self confessed technophobe. Well, that's not strictly true, she likes technology but admits that it always seems to go wrong for her. Yesterday, I was in an ICT suite when she came in with a group of SEN kids. As they logged on, there was a constant stream of "Miss, my computer won't work" and "Miss, the monitor won't come on". You know the stuff. She kept asking me for help and finally we had them all up and running.

 

She uses an egg timer to determine how long the kids get on an activity, she sat down at the desk turned the egg timer over and a few seconds later called me saying "Help, my egg timer has stopped!"

Actually we have some egg timers with an electronic timer in the end of the sand device... so it might not be quite as daft as it sounds!
