XP remote connection issues

Hi

 

We have VPN set up on our router.

 

Both myself and another member of staff can connect in. The connection to the router is successful.

 

I have vista at home and I can connect to a PC via mstsc or //servername/share and it asks for network username and password and works fine.

 

They have an XP machine. Connects to router fine but not to any shares or mstsc.

 

Any ideas ?

does the xp machine have a Default g/w?

 

Does the XP machine have a firewall installed?

 

Can they ping the xp machine on the vPN?
