bandgeekmafia78 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 I used to go to Stretford Grammar over ten years ago! I think it was Jack Dodd was NM at the time. Nice school.
irsprint84 Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 Last thing I will say is its a great school, everyone is great here only leaving because doubling my wage
SCAlly Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 .... only leaving because doubling my wage They're doubling your salary and you're leaving?? Must have been poor to start with!
irsprint84 Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 nope standard network manager pay I will only go for jobs that roughly double my last pay
SCAlly Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 ... I will only go for jobs that roughly double my last pay 6 more moves and I'll be on over £1m per year if I follow the same strategy
irsprint84 Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 ha! its possible in around three years I ve gone from 13k to 41k but I had to do alot of work for it! I seem to do well when economy in the crapper and rubbish when all is good!
SCAlly Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 In the same field? I've seen Network Managers salaries less than what I'm on now as an Assistant NM. You've seem to have done well for yourself - well done! (I'm lazy )
irsprint84 Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 it can be like that, excluding London I see average NM of 23 - 29k I did see a 50k head of ICT in a private school in Middlesex for 50k! I m off to work for a University as a Systems Manager, I still sadly think IT peopel in schools get painted with the same brush when applying for non-educational jobs, which is a shame. Thankfully the university has quite a big IT Branch to move up in plus because they re a University they are allowing me to do a Masters because doesnt really cost them anything I was lazy until I worked for a call centre, I never want to end up back there again!
