This looks cool. But it's only really work somewhere with a lot of foot traffic.

 

Most of the day in a school is spent in a classroom.

 

This would be perfect for a big shopping centre though.

Next to none when compared to the cost of installing it I suspect. The website only seems to show lights being powered - probable very efficient ones too. The website is also a little light on actual figures.

 

Might be useful where you need light but have no mains feed - but in a school (indoors)? Can't see it meself.

with 1600 kids some of our corridors have a lot of traffic, there's a crossroad junction near the hall/dining room that is also used to get across to the other side of the school. and we have to have 2 periods of lunchtime. Although 00s of kids pushing each other up a corridor might defeat stepping on a single slab.

 

Depends how long it takes to pay for itself.
