odd smart notebook issue

on a laptop (win7 x86) smart 10.8 (personally im sticking with 107 seems to just work better but im covering for someone) the smartboard is fully interactive i can use pens to draw on windows itself BUT as soon as i load smart notebook i cant do anything withing the confines of the notebook window (except the toolbars) so ica nt draw annotate move mouse etc

 

and ideas as im stumped

Ive found the best solution when it comes to problems with smart software is just to contact their support. I had a problem for ages and posted about it here there and everywhere, eventually contatced them and they sorted it within a couple of email replies.

 

Incidentlay, my imaging guy said today that the latest version of smart corrupts a load of software on our SOE, namely inspiration but others as well that I cant remember just now.

I've not had problems imaging Smart Notebook 10.8 myself, including the usual Sysprep.

 

As for Sted's problem, I'm not entirely sure on that one. You'd think that if the interactivity was working, the application in use shouldn't matter. I presume the light on the board is always green?

The problem presented itself when we were bulding our latest image. Everything was working great, then install SMART latest, then things stop working.

yup lights green all the time and it works just not letting me do owt in notebook
