Millennium Education

Just had Millennium Education on the phone, trying to offer us projectors are these the company as in this thread http://www.edugeek.net/forums/hardware/48973-millennium-education-computers.html

 

The chap was very pushy as to what we use and got very defensive when I said no thank you, asking why not if we can offer you a better price, said to have a preferred supplier but would keep them in mind (No I won't)

 

Is this the company that don't turn up and just send you invoices, when you haven't even purchased with them? Or am I thinking of a different Millennium?

Same millennium. One of my last places, never had them on the books and got a fictional order for £20k with the no name on the order just the schools address.

 

ended up going to court with millennium pulling out and paying recompense to the school

I've ordered some PCs from this mob before. Haven't had any problems with the PCs, but my impression of the company is that it seems to be all over the place. Have had half a dozen account managers in a short space of time, and looking at their website now, their PCs look remarkably like those previously supplied by A2Z...

 

Haven't had any similar pushy phone calls though.
