Hotmail error

I have a friend who insists on using Hotmail and is getting a lot of bounced messages. The error is: The original message was received at Fri, 28 Oct 2011 08:12:35 +0100

from localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]

I've just got to the bottom of this. His account was used to send loads of Spam in September so I think he's going to have to change is account.
