South Korea to deliver a soley digital curriculum

This article from the BBC is very intersting: BBC News - Digital textbooks open a new chapter

Basically, all content in school would be capable of being delivered digitally by 2015 with all materials delivered via computers. Assisting this would be school wide wi-fi and 'anywhere learning'. Of particular note is this bit:

An Organisation for Economic Co-ordination and Development (OECD) international assessment found that 15-year-olds in South Korea were the most competent users of digital technologies in a survey of 16 developed countries.

They were best at evaluating information on the internet, assessing its credibility and navigating web pages.

Which is what an earlier report into UK childrens ability to filter such information found sadly lacking over here due to the way that ICT it taught. I wonder how long it will be before the rest of the world begins to adopt this method of teaching and learning?
