spookyspoof Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Hi all - as a newby i'm not sure that this is in the correct forum, but i need some help with our Service Desk Plus. We currently have 3 tech supoprt engineers in the Senior School and a part time one who works in the Prep School. The tech from Prep asked me the other day how to edit a call she had logged - I advised her how to do this, but she is not listed as a technician, just a general user. I tried to add her as a techinician but, as i'm new here, only found out we only have licences for 3 technicians, which are being used by us in the Senior School. However since doing this (and not actually changing her role) see is now unable to see any of the calls she's logged since, well, ever!! Does anyone have an idea what may have happened?? have checked that she is selecting the right view but no jobs show at all. Any help would be greatly appreicated
JoeBloggs Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 You could try getting them to log out completely and logging back in. If not logon to the server side and restart Servicedesk and check again. Failing them, I would just give them a ring! They charge enough, so might aswell use the support!
spookyspoof Posted October 20, 2011 Author Posted October 20, 2011 Had got her to log on and off again, as it started yesterday so thought it may have 'somehow' resolved itself today. Think i'll have to give them a call - thanks for the advice
JoeBloggs Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 It looks like a view problem - but you said you checked. It's a weird one I've not come across! I would ask them how much it would be to add another tech too
spookyspoof Posted October 21, 2011 Author Posted October 21, 2011 Hi this has 'somehow' resolved itself now - not sure if it needed a couple of days to think about sorting itself out... Thanks for the prompt reply tho
