theaksy Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Hi Strange one here. Uploading an excel 2007/2010 (xlsx) file through the extended version appears to be slightly corrupting the file. Opening an uploaded xlsx file gives the following message: Excel found unreadable content in '.../xlsx'. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trurst the souce of this workbook, clik Yes. It manages to then successfully open the file, and there doesn't appear to be any data lost, however you do then get the following message: Excel completed file level validation and repair. Some parts of this workbook may have been repaired or discarded. I've checked the MIME types on the IIS 7 server that is hosting it, and they look fine. Have also tried it with a word document and it did the same. Interestingly though it doesn't affect excel or word 2003 files. Also, the basic version handles xlsx and docx files fine, which suggests IIS is probably fine. Anyone else seen a similar thing?
nickbro Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 There is a slight bug with the MSCB with uploading ZIP files (of which .xlsx, .docx, .pptx are). This will hopefully be fixed in v8 when the new uploading processes are introduced
