newdriftking-2008 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Hi Guys, I'm having an issue using I Can Animate (ver 1.6.0) and iMovie 09 (8.0.6) The students in school are creating an animation with I Can Animate, and then they want to add sounds etc with iMovie. The problem we are having is when a student shares the movie with iMovie - iMovie doesn't open it.. I know that the Mac is working with this software as when I logon as the root account it works perfectly.... It appears to be a permissions issue, but the user has read&write permissions to the users Movie/iMovie Events/I Can Animate/ as advised by Kudlian helpdesk, but it still isn't working.. Does anybody have any ideas on what I can try to get this working? Thanks
round2it Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 are you using home folders on the mac or a windows share. imovie does not like using widows shares to run i force a local profile on our macs
round2it Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 are the home folders stored on the mac or are they redirected to the windows share?
