Cosidering this was the mid-70's their most expensive player was £72.95, which in todays money (using this rather wonderful site here: Measuring Worth - Measures of worth, inflation rates, saving calculator, relative value, worth of a dollar, worth of a pound, purchasing power, gold prices, GDP, history of wages, average wage) works out at anywhere between £403 and £829 depending on method used. Not cheap that in car audio gear.
