elsiegee40 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Saw this in the Sunday Times last weekend: http://www.psdgroup.com/JobDescription.aspx?id=12623 While the website is circumspect, the newspaper has the MI6 and SIS branding on the advert. You never know... it might be of interest to one of you!

You never know... it might be of interest to one of you! One limitation for this is that you must live in London ... and you can't arrange to move to London beforehand ... and they won't give you a reference as a place of work to help you get a flat / house to rent. Apparently.
CyberNerd Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 just say you live in London, i doubt they check references 1
elsiegee40 Posted October 5, 2011 Author Posted October 5, 2011 Now we could have some very interesting conversations 'behind the red door' from these post holders
jtotheb Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 If you are applying don't say you are on here! It's generally a requirement of applications to MI5 and 6 that you don't tell anyone you're applying.

It's generally a requirement of applications to MI5 and 6 that you don't tell anyone you're applying. Does that mean we don't believe people if they say they aren't applying? This could be very interesting .... do I say that I am not (because I'm not) only for people to think that I really am ... or do I go for the straight, "I am applying", immediately ruling me out ... or perhaps the complex "I can neither confirm nor deny that I might be applying, or might not be, for vacancies in an organisation which may or may not have previously denied they did or did not exist!" 2
