So, would this mean we can run an update on a deity?

Sat in the ICT Room (back to where I started as I had to give up my office for a new deputy head at the school) sorting through the various tail end bits of all my summer woes when I heard this corker.

The ICT Teacher is going over hardware vs software, input devices vs output devices etc. With our kids the basic level of which being "if you can touch it, it's hardware, if you can't it's software." which is all very good.

Anyway, one of the students just piped up:

"Miss, does this mean that God is software? As you just said if you can't touch it then it's software, and I can't touch God, so does that mean He's software?"

I struggled to contain my laugh at that .. really quite tickled me ..

So, look out in a few years time, Deity for iOS, it's the new way to worship (like Facetime was the new way to chat but we had video calling before etc etc)

:)
