Cadbury145 Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Hi, This problem started today, where I have no icons, and I also cannot open the Start Menu. On my desktop shortcuts, all I can see is the text, but not the shortcut icon. This is also the same for my folder icons, where I can just see the name. I have tried rebuilding the cache file and rebooting. If anyone can help me with this, I will be grateful.

ihaveaproblem Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I would boot into safe mode, disconnect your computer from the network and do some scans. 1) Run ccleaner on it CCleaner - Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download 2) Run malwarebytes Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download 3) Run your AV scan
