New apc smart-ups 750 fails self test - anybody else?

We have a new server with a new UPS. In their wisdom, the default settings from apc make it self-test every 2 weeks. Fine - except when it drops power to your new server. We've sent one back already, and the second unit also likes dropping servers. 35% load, one dell t610 connected.

 

I think apc should name their products IPS - interrupted power supply.

 

We are now waiting (48 hours and counting) for apc to look at the logs they've been sent and decide what to do. In the meantime, the server has one supply on the mains - it's more reliable - and the selftest is disabled.

 

Has anybody else had similarly cr4p product & service from apc?
