I only watched the first episode and having loved the original, found the US one disappointing. Do you want to know who did it?

It wasn't in the original Scandinavian version, they kept throwing red herrings.

i just cant believe the ending, i mean who would have guessed it was them. ant and dec weren't even in any of the other episodes and yet to be revealed as the killers...wow, what an ending.

Noooooooooooo! How can they send this to a second series. We almost launched ourselves at the TV at the end. I haven't felt that cheated since I first watched The Usual Suspects!

kind of felt the same way. and also wondering how they can drag out a second series, because surely they will have to round up the story from the first season quite quickly. first two or three eps will show her realising she was lied to, etc....but then what. what can be played out for another 12 or so eps?

its a bit like prison break. he probably could have broken out in half the number of episodes, but we just needed episodes as filler with things like "i just need to break through this wall at a certain time"

I think it's swinging from 'classic' TV and 'cashing in' TV. The thing is, will I be able to watch the second series without feeling that I dislike what it had done?

I was annoyed that last weeks episode had nothing to do with the storyline at all, furious it ended that way. I really thought it was going to be a 1 season show!

Me too. I thought that since they had discouted many of the suspects the final 2 episodes should have been enough to finish it.

it sounds silly, but is the storyline even credible? if she has spoken to someone who can prove the photo isn't real, surely that means it would be thrown out of court?

you're not telling me they would stand up in court, show a picture and say "well it must be real, its been printed out.....not photoshopped at all....no....not at all" and the jury would sentence him to death. is that what they are getting at?

 

surely the process of it would show he gave her the photo, he has now disappeared (presumably) and someone else can discredit the photo.

I suppose we need to know who Holden was speaking to at the end when he got in the car and said that they had fallen for it. I would say there is only really enough for 1 or possibly 2 more episodes.

but its still a weak link.

i mean if i murder someone then just photoshop a picture of me on holiday and print it out and say "see, i wasnt there"....its hardly compelling evidence. they arrested the senator but it doesn't mean he will be charged.

if whoever was in the car honestly thought a printed picture would be all the evidence needed then its a very weak link indeed
