Stop Quicktime and iTunes prompting user to update on domain PC's

We have All Windows 7 PC's on our Domain and i want to know if there is a way to stop iTunes and QuicTime prompting our users to update the software. I know it can be done in the preferences for each user but i need a way of stopping on all PC's. Is there a config fill or equivalent that can be changed via scrip t or similar to stop this happening?
