MattDLEA Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Hi, Looking for some help as we have changed our Sims sever from an old domain to a new one. The Guy that was helping me didnt really know but we have mangaged to get SIMS client installed on 2 machines, now these people cant run reports ( some key is missing) the adress look up is not working? Is this a network issue or a Sims install problem? If anyone can let me know what folders I should be sharing ( how and who with ) that would be grand TIA
creese Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 A quick guess from the limited info... The docstorage is not correctly named. it should be c:\Docstorage\ServerName\InstanceName\databaseName. What is the exact error message?
creese Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 OpenOffice 3 There's your problem. SIMS only works on MS Office 2003 and above.
matt40k Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Or word\excel viewer. Assessment needs Office 2003+
