The IT department is a growing department supporting a wide range of server and client technologies. The Peele Community College is very proud of the excellent GCSE results achieved in 2011 with 54% of students gaining at least 5 GCSE A* - C grades, including Mathematics and English. You would be joining a vibrant learning community at an exciting time in its development. The role of IT technician would provide first line support to staff and students at the College. This would include general support to all teaching and non teaching staff, and students. The role would also include working with the College’s website, expanding the Virtual Learning Environment and also recording and producing digital media for use within the College. Although prior experience in an IT support role is highly desirable, applications from individuals with strong creative skills and backgrounds, and with a desire to bring these to an IT support role in education, would also be considered.
